Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical significance of multiple tumor markers detection in five kinds of tumors(liver lung colon prostate and ovarian cancers). Methods 205 cancer patients,100 non-tumor patients and 150 normal persons were measured by multiple tumor markers protein biochip detective system. Results The positive rates were 70.7%、38.0%and16.6%in malignant tumor,non-tumor patients and healthy groups, respectively. The malignant tumor group had significantly higher positive rate than that of the controls. The area of blouse ROC curve of the multiple tumor markers was bigger than that of any single tumor markers in lung cancer. Conclusion Using protein biochip technique to detect multiple tumor markers can significantly increase the diagnostic sensitivity and keep specificity better.
