Task-based Teaching method and Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language in College

At present,task-based teaching methodis still in a trial stage in the classroom teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Colleges and universities,and not to be paid attention to seriously. In view of this situation,the author explores the definition,the basic characteristics and the design principles of the task-based teaching method,and combined with own spoken Chinese teaching experience,made some preliminary research on the application of task-based teaching method in college in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. And it is pointed out that the task-based teaching method will help to improve students Chinese communication skills,and compared with the domestic and foreign language teaching,task-based teaching method is more suitable to develop students' communicative competence in Chinese teaching as a foreign language.
