Abstract

Objective: To study the safety and curative effect of transurethral plasmakinetic vaporization of prostate in prostate hyperplasia patients, for accumulating clinical experience in directing the clinical work. Methods: 500 patients with prostate hyperplasia were treated by transurethral plasmakinetic vaporization of prostate. Results: The duration of procedure was 30-140 min.The resected tissue weighed 12-130g.The intraoperative blood loss was 15-260ml.No transurethral resection syndrome was occurred. The international prostate symptom score(IPSS),the peak urinary flow rate(Qmax) and residual urine(RU) were obviously significant in preoperative and postoperative patients. Conclusions: Transurethral plasmakinetic vaporization of prostate is effective, high safety and less complications in patients with prostate hyperplasia.
