Abstract

Objective:To assess the safety and efficacy of transurethral plasmakinetic vaporization of prostate (TUPKVP). Methods:100 patients (mean age of 75.5 years, range from 52 to 95) with symptomatic BPH were treated by TUPKVP. Results:All patients were followed up of 3-6 month postoperatively. The peak flow rate increased from 8.2ml/s to 19.5ml/s;The IPSS decreased from 25 to 9,Residual urine volume decreased from 56ml to 10.8ml. Conclusions:It is suggested that TUPKVP is effective, high safetyt and less complications.
