Study on the effect of esomeprazole combined with paroxetine in the treatment of non-erosive gastroesophageal reflux disease

Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical effect of esomeprazole combined with paroxetine in the treatment of non-erosive reflux disease.Methods 92 patients with non-erosive gastroesophogeal reflux disease were divided into the treatment group and the control group.The patients of treated group were oral administration with esomeprazole 20 mg qd and paroxetine 20 mg qd,The patients of control group were oral administration with Omeprazole 20 mg qd,meanwhile gave Mosapride 5 mg tid by oral administration.Two groups lasted 8 weeks.Two groups were given symptoms evaluation when the second,fourth,sixth and eighth weeks.Results After treated,the symptoms of acid regurgitation,heartburn,substernal pain and the curative effect in two groups were improved,but curative effect in the treated group was significantly better than in the control group((P0.05).Conclusion Esomeprazole combined with paroxetine are more effective for treating non-erosive gastroesophageal reflux disease than Omeprazole.
