On Foreignization and Domestication in Chinese-English Translation

Abstract

Reasoned language foreignization is restricted by the inherent laws of purpose language. The foreignization and domestication of language are relative. In Chinese-English translation, transforming pattern from space structure to time order is the key of language foreignization. To grasp the simple mode of Chinese-English translation helps to improve the ability of Chinese-English translation.
