Abstract
This paper expounds that domesticating translation and foreignizing translation are two key strategies in bridging the cultural differences in translation.Based on the analysis of some specific examples of English-Chinese or Chinese-English translation,the author emphasizes that the theory of domestication and foreignization should be used in a proper way so as to resolve the clashes of the two cultures.
