Abstract
Objective To investigate the distribution and vicissitude of drug resistance of Acinetobacter baumannii from January to December in 2008.Methods The date of acinetobacter baumannii infection and its drug resistance from patients during the period of January to in 2008 were analyzed. Results 185 strains of acinetobacter baumannii were isolated from patients. The main infections were respiratory department(74.60%).Imipenem and Levofloxacin showed better activity to acinetobacter baumannii(71.4% and 66.7%).Higher resistance rate were cephalosporin(50%) and amidocyanogen(70%)antibiotics.The strains displayed multi drug resistance. Conclusion We should be aware of importance of acinetobacter baumannii infection and its drug resistance change, and provide basis for reasonable use of drugs in clinical practice.
