On the Breakthrough of Cultural Criticism on Literary Criticism and its Predicament

Since 1990s,the Chinese cultural criticism has broken through the boundary set by the traditional literary criticism and provided a completely new perspective and a mode of thinking, which have originated from the growth and renewal needed by reality and academy and have carried literary criticism to a new stage. However, cultural criticism has its rather limited impact on literary criticism because it has covered up a great deal of problems, called in questions from the critic and reveived little attention from the witer.
