Abstract

Since 1990s,literary criticism has been under theimpact of market economy;its influence and function in practice have beendecreasing gradually;literary criticists have been losing their academic position;literary criticism has been continuously losing its position in theory society,making literary criticism sink into an embarrassed situation.This thesis aimed to interpret the predicament of literary criticism and discuss about how to break the predicament.
