Orthognathic Surgery in Treatment of Old Jaw Fractures

Abstract

Objective:To review the clinical application of orthognathic surgery in treatment of old jaw fractures. Methods:20 cases of old jaw fractures with malocclusion which underwent orthognathic surgery-postoperative orthodontics procedure were retrospectively reviewed.Results:After treatment,patients restored satisfied occlusion.Conclusion: Orthognathic surgery-postoperative orthodontics procedure is a good approach in treatment of old jaw fractures.
