Abstract
Objectives To study the mental health state of freshmen in Xinjiang.Medical University,and provide a basis for the implementation of mental health education and consultation on freshmen.Met-hods University Personality Inventory(UPI) was used to examine the mental heath status of fresh students.Results Detection rate of varying degrees of psychological problems of the freshmen were accounted 44.63%(a class Ⅰ and Ⅱ students).The common psychological problems mainly focus on adaptation problem(25.83%) and emotion(19.17%).Conclusion The mental health status of the medical students cannot be ignored,school should be targeted to carry on the mental health,propaganda,education and necessary psychological intervention on students,in order to promote the development of the physical and mental health of students.
