Abstract

Objective To study the distribution and drug resistance of fungi in blood and provide the evidence for clinical therapy. Methods The blood was cultured with BD9120.The fungi were isolated with the SDA and CHROM agar colored medium and identified with API20C.The susceptibility test was then performed with FUNGUS 3 micro dilution plate. Results Totally 236 fungi strains were isolated from 29 801 blood specimen, the isolation rate was 0.79%.The prevalence of C.albicans was 110(46.61%),C.parapsilosis 60(25.42%),C.glabrata 35(14.83%),C.tropicalis 12(5.08%),others(Cryptococcus,Trichosporon asahii, other yeast, filmentons fungus) 19(8.05%),no C.Krusei was isolated.Susceptible-dose dependent(S-DD) to fluconazol was found in C.glabrata and Trichosporon asahii,MIC50 and MIC90 of other candida species to 5 antifungal drugs as fluconazol were in susceptible range. Conclusion The majority of fungi isolated from blood were candida species, which were susceptible to antifungal drugs, such as fluconazol, except C.glabrata.
