Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effects of tension-free hernia repair surgery in the treatment of pediatric inguinal hernia. Methods 105 cases of pediatric cases of inguinal hernia from October 2010 to November 2012 in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed and divided into two groups, the control group was taken with traditional hernia repair treatment, and the observation group was taken the treatment of tension-free hernia repair surgery. The clinical effects after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The hospital costs in the control group were significantly lower than the observation group, the other operative time, bed time, the incision the Grade healing rate, painkillers frequency of use, changes in body temperature situation in the observation group were significantly better than the control group, the difference was obvious(P0.05).The wound infection, incision pain, fever, scrotal edema, abdominal wound healing, foreign body sensation, ischemic orchitis complications were compared, there were obvious differences between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion The clinical effect of tension-free hernia repair surgery in the treatment of pediatric inguinal hernia is significant, and it is with high safety, less pain and fewer complications.
