Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effectiveness of free-tension hernia repair in treatment of inguinal hernia. Methods A total of 98 cases inguinal hernia were divided into observation group and control group including 49 cases treated with traditional hernia repair in the control group and 49 cases treated with no tension hernia repair in the observation group. The clinical efficacy of the two groups was observed. Results There were significant differences of the rate of foreign body sensation, pain, edema of scrotum and recrudesce between the two groups (χ2 = 4.356,4.009,4.346、4.170,P = 0.037,0.045,0.037,0.041) .The operation time, nick length, recovery time and hospital days in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group with statistical significance (t = 12.02,34.13,8.03,9.67,P all = 0.000) .Conclusions No tension hernia repair operation is effective which is worthy of popularization and application.
