The Clinical Comparative Analysis of the Traditional Inguinal Hernia Repair and Tension-free Hernia Repair in the Treatment of Inguinal Hernia of Elderly Patients

Objective:To investigate the clinical curative effect of tension-free hernia repair in the treatment of inguinal hernia of elderly patients. Method:To retrospective analyse the data of 80 cases of elderly patients proceed inguinal hernia repair surgery from January 2011 to December 2011,they were randomly divided tension-free group 40 cases and traditional group 40 cases.The tension-free group adopted hernia ring filling type tension-free hernia repair surgery treatment,the traditional group adopted the traditional hernia repair surgery treatment.To compare the curative effect,surgical operation time, postoperative down time,length of hospital stay,postoperative pain,incidence of complications and recurrence rate of two groups.Result:The total effect rate of the two groups had no significant difference(P0.05);the operation time and down time,postoperative hospitalization time of tension-free group were significantly shorter than traditional group,postoperative pain score,complications and recurrence rate of tension-free group were significantly lower than the traditional group(P0.05).Conclusion:The curative effect of hernia ring filling type tension-free hernia repair surgery in the treatment of elderly inguinal hernia is distinct,it is worth clinical promotion.
