Abstract

The technological process of extracting total flavonoids from pine needles was studied through comparing different extraction technologies in extracting flavonoids from three kinds of pine needles. The results indicated that water extraction method was the optimal extraction method and the pine needles of Pinus elliottii Engelm.had the highest content of total flavonoids.By single factor and orthogonal test experiments, the primary and secondary order of effect of the factors water extraction method for the total flavonoids from Pinus elliottii Engelm.was confirmed: extraction temperaturepHthe ratio of solid to liquidextraction time. The optimum process condition was confirmed that the yields of total flavonoids was(5.474 3±0.013 1)% could be obtained when extraction temperature was 100 ℃,pH=10.0,the ratio of solid to liquid was 1 ∶14,extraction time was 3 h.
