Establish of inclusive emergency department and practical investigate

Objective To investigate the function and development of inclusive emergency department.Methods Clinical material of our emergency center from January,2002 to December,2003 were reviewed.3284 times of ambulance were departure for the prehospital care,48350 cases visited the emergency center,1896 cases were admit to emergency center,3998 cases were admit to other special department of our hospital,592 cases were performed definitive operation in emergency center,among them 54 severe cases were operated on.Results The ambulance could arrive to the scene within 10 minutes if the distance in 5 kilometers.There were no death during the transport from the scene to the emergency center,success resuscitation rate was 92%.There was no death of general emergency operations.7 died after operation in 54 severe cases,morbidity was 13%.Conclusions Inclusive emergency department integrate prehospital care,resuscitation at emergency center,definitive operation and critical care.The success resuscitation rate is significantly high of the critical patients.The emergency medical team were trained and development.
