The trend analysis of viral hepatitis B incidence in changshu city from 2004 to 2010

Objective To grasp the characteristics of hepatitis B disease,predict epidemic trends,and provide a scientific basis to the government department to draw up prevention and control measures and strategies.By annual incidence of viral hepatitis B comparison in Changshu from 2004 to 2010,to analyze trends in our city of viral hepatitis B.Methods Using descriptive epidemiological analysis to analyze the incidence of viral hepatitis B.Results From 2004 to 2010 the incidence of viral hepatitis B was gentle downward,the number of hepatitis B disease mainly concentrated in urban areas,young adults infecked easly,mainly on the occupational distribution of migrant and workers,followed by the workers.Conclusion After years of planned immunization,the effect of prevention and control of viral hepatitis B gradually revealed,the highest peak in the incidence of hepatitis B declined,presenting a basic distributed state,the city's incidence of hepatitis B in students also reduced.The methods of Prevention and control of hepatitis B is improving the vaccination rate of susceptible population that including the newborn and young adult.
