Analysis on Epidemic Situation of Viral Hepatitis of Heng County From 2004 to 2010

OBJECTIVE To understand national laws rule infectious diseases of various types of viral hepatitis incidence nearly seven years in Heng County and analysis of the epidemiological characteristics for the development of control strategies and measures to provide a scientific basis.METHODS The county's data of epidemic with viral hepatitis have been collected from 2004 to 2010 and using Excel software for statistical analysis.RESULTS The county reported a total of 8 913 cases of viral hepatitis cases in nearly seven years,the population incidence rate of 111.18/100 000,the men more than in women of 2.84:1.The population incidence of various hepatitis were the hepatitis A 3.69/100 000,the hepatitis B 87.50/100 000,the hepatitis C 9.82/100 000,the hepatitis E 0.41/100 000 and unclassified hepatitis 9.77/100 000.High incidence of hepatitis in patients aged 15 to 54 age group,80.14% total infections.The farmers,students and workers number of cases accounted for 75.42%,6.24% and 3.02%,hepatitis patients showed an increasing trend and to hepatitis B based.CONCLUSION The viral hepatitis prevention task still tough in this county.
