Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To study the chemical constituents of Ainsliaea spicata. METHODS:The chemical constituents were isolated and purified by silica gel column chromatography and recrystallization. Their structures were identified using physicochemical properties and spectral analysis. RESULTS:Ten compounds were isolated and identified as friedelin (1),epifriedelanol (2),taraxerol (3),taraxeryl acetate (4),crepiside E (5),4,4'-dibutanoxy biphenyl (6),palmitic acid (7),eicosanol (8),β-sitosterol (9),daucosterol (10). CONCLUSION:All compounds are isolated from this plant for the first time and compounds 3,4,5,6 are isolated from Ainsliaea for the first time.
