Abstract

AIM To study the chemical constituents of Ainsliaea fragrans. METHOD The alcohol extract was isolated by silica gel and Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography, the constituents were purified by recystallization and identified on the basis of spectral data and physical chemical character. RESULT Compounds were isolated from the herb Ainsliaea fragrans and identified as quercetin(1);luteolin(2);apigenin(3);tricin(4 );luteolin 7-O-β-D-glucoside(5);quercetin-5-O-β-D-glucoside( 6);isovanillic acid(7);arbutin(8);β-sitosterol(9);β-sitosterol-D-glucoside(10). Among compounds,1~8 were isolated from Ainsliaea fragrans for the first time, and 1,4,6,7,8 were first isolated from this genes.
