Abstract
Objective To study the chemical constituents of the whole plant of Ainsliaea fragrans Champ. Methods Chemical constituents were isolated by various column chromatographic techniques and their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods. Results Nine compounds were isolated from the EtOAc fraction of this plant and were elucidated as(-)-clovane-2β,9α-diol(1),bauerenyl acetate(2),ursolic acid(3),aurantiamide acetate(4),syringic acid(5),vanillic acid(6),succinic acid(7),octanedioic acid(8),hexacosanic acid(9),respectively.Conclusions All compounds are isolated from genus Ainsliaea for the first time.
