Clinical Observation on the Therapeutic Effects of Tibetan Medicine Combined with Western Medicine in Patients with Acute Appendicitis

Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of combination of Tibetan medicine and Western medicine for patients with acute appendicitis.Methods:120 patients were randomly divided into treatment group(60 cases) and control group(60 cases).The treatment group received Tibetan medicine combined with Western medicine of ceftriaxone and tinidazole by intravenous drip and the control group received with ceftriaxone and western medicine by intravenous drip.Results: Among the treatment group of 60 cases,27 cases were cured,27 cases improved and 6 cases had no response,and the total effective rate was 90.00%.Among the control group of 60 cases,2 cases were cured,30 cases improved and 28 cases had no response,and the total effective rate was 53.33%.Compared with the total effective rate of 2 groups,there is significant difference.Conclusion:Tibetan medicine combined with western medicine got curative effect for acute appendicitis.
