Abstract
【Objective】To study the efficiency of traditional Chinese medicine combined with Western medicine on acute pancreatitis.【Methods】A total of 90 cases diagnosed as acute pancreatitis were randomly divided into two groups (45 in each group) by random number chart, control group received regular medical treatment , treatment group received additional traditional Chinese medicine. 【Results】In treatment group19 cases were cured, 22 cases got better and 4 cases had no effect with the total effective rate of 91.3 %; while in control group 13 cases were cured, 25 cases got better and 7 cases had no effect with the total effective rate of 84.6 %. There was obvious difference between two group (P 0.05). The recovery time of abdominal pain and distention press pain on upper abdomen of treatment group was shorter than that of control group (P 0.05), while fever, urinary amylase and WBC had no difference between both groups. (P 0.05). 【Conclusion】Traditional Chinese medicine combined with Western medicine can improve the efficiency on acute pancreatitis, reduce complications
