Abstract

Objective:To explore the causes of male infertility through analyzing main indexes of from 1264 patients. Methods:Test the general character according to WHO technical specifications[1]and semen test of national clinical laboratory operation procedure (3th) ,carry on other indexes examination according to sperm quality analyzer,And the results are analyzed and compared. Results:Of the 1264 samples, the rate of normal morphology sperm of 87.8% (1110 /1264) patients has dropped (the average rate of normal morphology sperm was only 12.2%),the sperm motility (A-level + B-level less than50%) was accounted for 74.7% (944 /1264),the sperm agglutination of 41.0% (518 /1264) patients has increased.the viscosity of 30.9% (391 /1264) specimens was abnormal.the extended liquefaction time was accounted for 30.8% (389 /1264).the ascendant WBC concentration (≥1 × 106 /ml) of was accounted for24.5% (310 /1264).All sperm of11.5% (145 /1264) patients has decreased, including Azoospermic patients were accounted for 1.98% (25 /1264).Color abnormality was accounted for 9.2% (116 /1264).the volume of 3.3% (42 /1264) patients was anomaly. Conclusions:Of the main parameters tested by SQA-V sperm quality analyzer, the decline of the rate of normal morphology sperm and sperm motility was the most important factor in the leading male infertility.
