Analysis of the routine test results of semen qualities of 551 patients

Objective: To investigate the cause of male infertility through analyzing the main indicators of semen of 551 patients.Methods: The main indicators of sperm motility and sperm density were tested by WLJY-9000 sperm quality analyzer,and the results are analyzed and compared with.Results: Of the 551 semen samples,the sperm motility(A-level +B-level 50% or A-level25%) accounted for 68.2%(376/551),the viscosity of 18.0%(99/551) semen samples was abnormal,the liquefaction time of 17.4%(96/551) samples extended,10.7%(59/559) semen WBC concentration increased(≥1×106/ml),the number of semen in 14.7% patients decreased,2.5% were azoospermia,the semen volume of 3.0%(17/551) patients was abnomal.Conclusion: The decline of sperm parameters ejaculated for one time and the sperm motility are the most important factors leading to male infertility.
