Abstract

Through an in-depth analysis on the word Li(Rite),the article aims at seeking the origin of Chinese concept of and its influence on Chinese traditional legal culture.With the study on the words of Lu(履),Shi(示),Li(豊),which is closely connected with the composition of the word Li(rite),the article expounds to explore the elements of Li embedded in Chinese traditional legal culture.
