Clinical Comparison of Two Kinds of Operation Mode in Treatment of Glaucoma and Cataract

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of two kinds of surgical approach in treatment of glaucoma and cataract.Method: 100 patients(142 eyes) of glaucoma and cataract admitted in our hospital from January 2011 to December 2012 were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, the observation group was given cataract phacoemulsification and IOL surgery,while the control group was underwent trabeculectomy.Result:The postoperative visual acuity, intraocular pressure and corneal astigmatism significantly improved in the observation group(P0.05).The postoperative complication rate of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P0.05). Conclusion: Phacoemulsification IOL surgery in treating with glaucoma and cataract has good effect, and it can control the IOP, significantly improve vision, which is worth to be promoted and applied in clinical.
