Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of the two different methods for glaucoma with cataract. Methods 97 patients with glaucoma combined with cataract were divided randomly into the observation group(50cases)and control group(47cases).The observation group was applied for the phacoemulsification, trabeculectomy and intraocular lens implantation, the control group took the extracapsular cataract extraction, trabeculectomy and intraocular lens implantation. Then compared the clinical efficacy and complication of them. Results The two groups all can restoration eyesight and stabilize intraocular tension. However, the astigmatism and concurrent disease in the control group were higher than the observation group(P0.05).Conclusion Phacoemulsification was better than extracapsular cataract extraction to management patients with glaucoma combined with cataract.
