The effect of xiaoyukang capsules on the para -hemorrhage edema and neurological function of moderade and small hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage

Objective To detect the effect of xiaoyukang capsules on the moderate and small edema around the hematoma and the neural function in patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage.Methods A total of 70 cases of hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage with moderate and small edema were randomly divided into treatment group and control group and both were given conventional therapy.The treatment group was added by xiaoyukang capsules after 1 week from the onset on the basis of conventional treatment.Head CT were performed before and after treatment in 7 days,14 days respectively and the changes of the edema around the hematoma and clinical curative effect were ob served and calculated.Results After therapying for 7 days and 14 days,the volume of the hematoma and the edema around the hematoma in treatment group were significantly lower than that of the control group,meanwhile,the neural function defect score in treatment group were significantly higher than that of the control group respectively.Conclusion Xiaoyukang capsules might reduce the edema effectively around the hematoma and improve the secondary brain injury after hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage to promote the hematoma absorption and neural function recovery.
