Abstract

studying on10 city waterfront greenbelt along the Shaoyang Zijiang River,the authors investigated and analyzed the plant species,richness,evenness index of the waterfront greenbelt and species diversity index by using the quadrat samplings. The results indicated: the plant richness,evenness and diversity index of tree layer that of ground Layer that of brush layer,and there was no significant difference in the evenness among three regional waterfront green space,but the evenness,richness of trees were higher than those of shrubs and ground cover. The richness index of upstream region that of downstream region that of the middle reaches,and the diversity index of the upstream region was maximum while that of the downstream region was minimum.
