Study on Plant Diversity of Waterfront Green Spaces of Shahe in Chengdu

Taking 8 waterfront green spaces in upstream,midstream and downstream sections of Shahe in Chengdu,the species composition,species diversity index and evenness index of plant community were analyzed in order to provide reference in plant landscape construction in city waterfront park.The results showed that there were 110 kinds of plants in 32 type places including 50 kinds of arbor,36 kinds of shrub,24 kinds of herbaceous,the four indexes as Shannon-Wiener index,Simpson index,Margalef index and the Pielou index appeared as arbor layershrub layerherb layer and downstreamupstreammidstream in different section.The maximum Margalef index and Pielou index were appeared in upstream arbor layer while the minimum were in midstream herb layer.There were no obvious difference in species richness and evenness of the shrub layer in three sections of Shahe.
