Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of batroxobin in treatment of acute cerebral infarction (ACI) in different times. Methods A total of 400 patients were divided randomly into two groups, 200 cases of treating group were treated with batroxobin and 200 cases of control group were treated with salviae miltiorrhizae-compound injection in the study. These patients were allotted respectively to 0~6h, 7~12h, 13~24h, 25~48h and 49~72 hours group according to sick times. The initial intravenous infusion of batroxobin were 10 unit in 250ml of normal saline every day for two times in treating group. After two day, Subsequent 10 unit batroxobin were administrated intravenous infusion on the fourth, sixth and eighth day respectively every other day for three times. Results The marks of neurological functional impairment were markedly reduced the treating group than control group(P£1/40.01), cure rate and total effective rate were markedly increased the treating group than control group in identical time window(P£1/40.01).Conclusion This study demonstrates that the batroxobin in effective and safe for ACI beginning treatment within 24 hours of stroke onset, and it is also effective within 72 hours of stroke onset. The shorter time is, the better effect of thrombolytic therapy.
