Clinical observation on effects of Ganshi Qingdai Ointment on 66 patients with neurodermatitis

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Ganshi Qingdai Ointment on patients with neurodermatitis. Methods: 129 cases of neurodermatitis were randomly divided into treatment group with Ganshi Qingdai Ointment (66 cases) and the control group with Hydrocortisone butyrate 0.1% cream (63 cases). The course of treatment lasted for two weeks, the relapse rate in each group was assessed on the 4th week. Results: At first two weeks the total effective rates of the two groups were 69.7%, 74.6%.The cure rates of two groups by analysis of Ridit,therapeutic effects were similar. But the effect of relieving itching on treatment group was superior to the control group, and the relapse rate of treatment group was inferior to the later. Conclusion: Ganshi Qingdai Ointment was effective on patients with neurodermatitis.
