Teaching Map:Instructional Design Tool for Mind Guide

Classroom instructional design is a very complex teaching activity,which needs to handle the connection between teachers,students,content,media and many other factors.As a visual instructional design tool,mapping can make complicated instructional design visualization, teaching process briefly and hierarchical,and all kinds of teaching factors clear,so it is considered as a blueprint of classroom teaching.This paper introduces three classical forms of mapping, and develops teaching map.Furthermore,application of teaching map in chemistry instructional design is discussed with the case of ionic reaction based on ideas of new chemistry curriculum reform.
