Abstract

The 20th Congress of the Comminist Party of Soviet Union produced a profound influence on Mao Zedong to explore into the socialist construction pathway with Chinese characteristics. Discussing the reasons and drawing the lessons from this are not only helpful for us to deepen our understanding of the historical factors of Deng Xiaoping theory, but also are of an important instructiveness and realistic significance to further open the social road with chinese characteristics since the open policy
