Abstract
Compared with that of the Seventh Congress,the party constitution of the Eighth Congress has a markable difference which caught great attention:Mao Zedong Thoughts is not mentioned there.In fact,it was caused mainly by the attitude of Soviet Communist Party to Mao Zedong Thoughts proposed by our Communist Party at that time.Such a compromise played a positive role,while the negative effect is obvious.Drawing lessons from the history,we should keep Deng Xiaoping Theory firmly as our guidance in constructing.
