Abstract

The Eighth National Party Congress of the CPC is a glorious milestone on the road to socialist construction of Communist Party of China,with its great achievements and profound significance to be worth sufficiently affirming.Due to historical limitations,the major central leaders,such as Mao Zedong and Liu Shaoqi made inadequate preparations for the overall socialist construction,which led to the Eighth National Party Congress's insufficient understandings of major theoretical issues like social principal contradiction,class struggle and Mao Zedong thoughts at that time.This limitation is directly or indirectly related with the mistakes made in the subsequent course of socialist construction by The Communist Party of China.
