Abstract

Objective To observe the protective effectiveness of prrified human rabies vaccine Methods The subjects were divided into 3 groups based on age and other confounding fators:a) Experimental Group consisted of 32 healthy subjects;b) Immunized Control Group consisted of 30 subjects without any biting history and inoculation of any vaccines;c) subjects immunized without full course of rabies vaccine Antibodies against rabic virus were detected from subjects immunized with full course of purified rabies vaccine Results It showed that the antibody positive rate was 96 43% in the subjects immunized with full course of purified rabies vaccine and there was no evident effect of age and the confounding factors of sour(S),pungent(P),drink(D),tea(T) antibiotics(A) on the antibody positive conversion Conclusion vaccination of purified human rabies vaccine is feasible and effective measure for prevention of rabies
