Immune Effect of Domestic Purified Rabies Vaccine in 2137 Cases

[Objective]To learn the immune effect of domestic purified rabies vaccine and the relevant influential factors. [Methods] The injured patients were inoculated with 5 to 9 injections of the vaccine; serum samples of the patients were collected and diluted as 1:10; ELISA was used for the detection of rabies antibody.[Results]After being inoculated with the domestic purified rabies vaccine for 5 injections, the seroconversion rate of the patients was 99.20%, that of the males and females were 99.16% and 99.24% respectively; after being inoculated for 9 injections, the seroconversion rate turned out to be 100%. [Conclusion] The serum rabies antibody of the 65 common people who were not inoculated with rabies vaccine is all negative, which indicated that there is no subclinical infection among the common people.
