Abstract
Objective; This study assessed the prognostic value of C-reactive protein (CRP) in patients with unstable angina pectoris (UAP). Methods: The serum concentrations of C-reactive protein were measured in 105 UAP patients and their rates of endpoint events were observed. Results: The rate of AMI and major adverse cardiac events in UAP patients with CRP3. 6 mg/L was more higher than that in UAP patients with CRP3. 6 mg/L (P0. 01). Conclusion; Increased level of CRP is a predictor of worse prognosis in UAP patients.
