Integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine and Massage for the Treatment of 314 Cases with Vertebral Artery Type of Cervical Spondylosis

Abstract

Objective:To detect an effective and safe method in the treatment of vertebral artery type of cervical spondylosis.Methods:The vertebral artery type of cervical spondylosis patients which were treated from 1996 to 2011 were divided into manipulative treatment group,medicine treatment group,and combined therapy group.There were no significant differences in general data(P0.05).Results:The clinical cure rate and the total effective rate were 57.32% and 85.37% respectively in the manipulative treatment group,62.50% and 84.38% respectively in the medicine treatment group,and 84.52% and 95.24% respectively in the combined therapy group.By Ridit analysis,the curative effect were significant different in above three groups(P0.05).The effectiveness of combined therapy group was superiority to the treatment group.Conclusion:The curative effect of combined therapy is significantly superiority to manipulative treatment and medicine treatment,and it is worth for clinical application.
