Abstract

Objective To evaluate the changes of platelet function, coagulationfibrinolysis status in active phase UC patients and the relationship between the function change and different clinical types of UC,discuss the correlation of the indexes. Methods Ninety-one UC patients were divided into 3 groups: mild group, moderate group and severe group;while 200 healthy persons were defined as control group.Statistical analysis of platelet count,MPV(mean platelet volumn),D-dimer,PT(prothrombin time),APTT(activated partial thromboplastin time), fibrinogen were taken among normal control group,UC group and different clinical types of UC group.Indexes with statistical significance would go through correlative tests. Results The platelet count,MPV,D-dimer,fibrinogen were statistically different between control group and UC group.D-dimer had statistical significence in different severity of the disease. The correlation of D-dimer and fibrinogen(r=0.586972) as well as that of platelet count and fibrinogen(r=0.363792) had statistical significence.Other indexes had no ovbious correlation. Conclusion The platelet count,MPV,D-dimer and fibrinogen may become predictors in active phase UC patients, and D-dimer can reflect the severity of ulcerative colitis.
