Abstract

Objective To observed and compared the clinical efficacy and safety of doxofylline and aminophylline treatment on chronic obstructive pneumonia. Methods 80 cases of chronic obstructive pneumonia patients were randomly divided into doxofylline treatment group(A group) 40 cases and aminophylline control group(B group) 40 cases. The treatment group were treated with doxofylline 300mg once a day besides from conventional therapy, while patients in the control group were treated with aminophylline 250mg once a day.Observed wheezing symptoms and changes of wheezing rale in the lungs,as well as non-performing reaction of patients with chronic obstructive pneumonia. Results As a result, the total effective rate of the group A were higher than that in group B,the difference between these two groups were statistically significant(P0.05).The group A only had 2 case(5.0%) showing gastrointestinal tract symptoms while the group B had 11 cases(27.5%) showing various symptoms of gastrointestinal tract, cardiovascular system, and nervous system the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion It could be concluded that doxofylline was much safer and more effective than aminophylline in curing chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases. It calld be the priority choice in the additional treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases.
