Abstract

[Objective]To investigate the clinical effects of Doxofylline treatment for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and bronchial asthma.[Methods]84 cases of bronchial asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in our hospital from June 2008 to June 2010 were randomly divided into two groups, observation group and control group. Two groups of patients received smoking cessation, antibiotic resistant infection, oxygen, cough expectorant, correcting water and electrolyte disturbance and the maintenance of acid-base balance. The control group was given 250mg of aminophylline injection in 5% glucose injection intravenously, once a day for 7 days;observation group was given 300mg Doxofylline in 5% glucose intravenous injection, once a day for 7 days.[Results]The total effective rate was 95.2% in the observation group, the total effective rate was 78.5% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P﹤0.05);the incidences of adverse reactions in two groups were statistically significant(P﹤0.05).[Conclusion]Doxofylline significantly improve chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and bronchial asthma symptoms,is with less adverse reactions, worthy for learning from.
