Discussing the Relationship between the Word HuiHui and Sogdians in the Tang Dynasty

About the origin of the word HuiHui problem,the current academic circles have two ideas:one is originated in MengXi BiTan by Shen kuo in the Song Dynasty,the second is from the HeiDaShiLue in the Yuan Dynasty.Both of these views have in common is that the etymololy of the wordHuiHuioriginally come from the turn sound of Huihe or Huihu.In this paper,the author thinks that study of the origin of the word HuiHui problem,not only to refere to the literature,but also to combined with the big history background to analysis and reasoning the emergence of the term.Based on literature and archaeological data,this paper puts forward a tentative thesis that emergence of the word HuiHui were related with the Sogdian in the Tang Dynasty.
