Abstract

Generally it is believed that the connotation of the Chinese wordnewsoriginated in the Tang Dynasty. However,the article thinks it emerged at least in the Wei and Jin Dynasties.In the periods of Tang,Song,Ming and Qing dynasties,the word of news was used frequently,and its meaning changed with the ancient history.
