Abstract
Qi, as a writing style in the Tang Dynasty,was affected by the articles of peace and prosperity in the Tang Dynasty,not only on the number of the works that was larger than their predecessors,but also the broad range of content. It's style and features were different from those in the dynasties of Wei and Jin. Through studying Wen Yuan Ying Hua and other document,the paper discusses the classification of the Qi in the Tang Dynasty,analyses the general view of it in that dynasty; besides,by quoting some representatives of Qi texts in the Tang Dynasty,the study concludes its literary features and social functions. After the Tang Dynasty,the creation in this style recessed,for the cause of the demand of history.
