Abstract

Objective To investigate the relationship between microcirculatory disturbance and change of disease condition in patients with acute pancreatitis(AP). Methods Coagulation profile and hemorheological indexes were detected in 20 patients with mild AP(group MAP) and 20 patients with severe AP(group SAP) on the 1st,3rd and 7th day after admission, which were examined in 20 cases with cholecystitis or cholecystolithiasis(group C) on the 1st day after admission. Results The prothrombin time(PT),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),fibrinogen(FIB) concentration and D-dimer(D-D) concentration were higher in group SAP than those in group MAP on the 1st and 3rd day, which of both groups were higher than those in group C(P0.05).Platelet count was lower in group SAP than that in groups of MAP and C on the 1st,3rd and 7th day(P0.05). The viscosity of whole blood was higher in group MAP than that in group C,which was higher in group SAP than that in group MAP on the 1st,3rd and 7th day(P0.05). Conclusion The coagulation profile and hemorheological indexes are related to disease condition of AP.Dynamically montoring coagulation and hemorheological criteria is helpful to evaluate the prognosis of AP.
